listenin to :: Do It Again - Nadhira
I do not know where to begin with as this happened back in June
and now is August, could hardly remember what happened then.
oh wells
so I shall begin with...
on a one fine evening,
lesbie partner & I decided to go out on a dinner date together at Ben's @ Pavilion.
we've heard a lot about Ben's thus we checked them out.
they are under the same management as T Forty Two, Ben's Food General Store & I can't wait to check out the rest of the outlets, it better not be serving the same food.
this is how Ben's at Pavilion look like
loved how they decorated the wall, if only I have the patience to do this for my room
candid shot taken by Syee, I seemed lost! hah!
one of the drinks that I would order when I go to restaurants
recommended by Syee I'm not a salad lover (never was) but I gotta say it tasted really good
we both love Carbonara & yyeeaapp, it's delicious too!
we ordered pie as well but I did not get to try because was darn full by the end of main course
then Nick asked to take away so he could have it as supper
don't remember what we talked about but I guess something funny?
look at Nick's face
last but not least dessert!
Nick " are you planning to try all Tiramisu in the world? "
me " of course!
"
all in all,
experience with Ben's was good; will definitely go back for more
we adjourned to Syee's place after dinner for drinking session.
booze, wine & card games
myself with Leo
I've no idea why Leo like to pinch my cheeks
as said earlier on,
I don't remember exactly what happened then and I don't know what to type now
therefore I shall stop here
blog for the sake of blogging
till then, toodles

Mambo Jambo Anniversary: Flirtin' with the 50s
Sunday, April 24, 2011
listenin to :: Toward the Sunrise - Keiko Matsui
sometimes I wonder,
what's the point of having a theme party where your guests don't dress according to em'?
I mean, think the fun of dolling up, getting ready and strut the costume at the party
thinking about it right now made me feel like dressing up already but for what occasion?
mind the sudden randomness
maybe one thing about Malaysians is that we are too shy or too afraid or couldn't care less to dress up.
except on Halloween, that was the only time I got to see everyone dress up and it made my jaw dropped literally
why the sudden topic on theme parties was because one of the Wednesdays I've attended Mambo Jambo Anniversary at Zouk.
the moment I got there, Joan, Joanne & I were the only people dressed up for the event.
you can imagine how people looked at us the moment we walk in the club, awkward seriously.
if then there was a slight chance for me to get my clothes change, I would
how can people not dress up where Zouk spent money to make the place look like they're in 50s'.
am impressed with the structures they have gotten for the theme, old gas tank and etc.
now I wonder why I did not took pictures of it * smacks forehead *
picture taken before entering Velvet
Zouk dancers danced to 50s' songs in 50s' costumes, it was exciting!
myself & Joan, damn she has nice long curly hair I want
with Joanne
Putera was there to check out the event too though he was not on work that night
I supposed this was the door gift?
how was the anniversary?
I would say, the moment I stepped foot in Velvet I felt like I'm attending a party in my mama & papa's generation.
not that I'm exaggerating but I felt literally old especially the crowd were much older & the songs especially,
not that I didn't enjoy but it was not my type of music; I'm more to dance songs & smooth jazz
that doesn't matter anyways, what matters most was Joan & Joanne had fun
they partied & danced happily while I stood at the dance floor be a fat statue
I would say, I will not club on Mambo Jambo night ever again - one night experience was more than enough.
I should just stick to my regular Thursday, Friday or Saturday clubbing nights

Everyone Just Wanna Have a Good Time!
Sunday, April 10, 2011
listenin to :: Tonight - Big Bang
Sunday, the day where I don't feel like doing anything but to stay home and laze around.
been playing The Sims 3 from 3 in the afternoon till dinner time, how lifeless is that right?
don't understand why I can't seem to install the other expansion packs, mmmm.
guess is time to reformat the computer so I get to play till late night again - just like old times
how was your weekend people?
my weekend was filled with fun and laughter.
been partying from Thursday till Saturday night, again!
papa could not bear with my late nights, he warned me that he is going to change the house lock if this continues.
I hope he understands with the heavy stress from work, really needa get out and loosen up! not coming up with an excuse but it's true!
oh? have I told you? lesbie partner is currently working in the same company as me.
contract basis; will be seeing her till I vomit until August
lesbie & I were invited to Jason's 21st party at The Hills, Damansara Heights.
I am surprised the birthday boy did not come up with themes but instead he came up with theme colors.
blue or purple or pink.
& guess what? no one dressed according to the theme color set by the birthday boy.
I think lesbie & I were the only ones whom dressed according to the color, so much for following the party rules
it was a great birthday party still organized by Jason and Adverlets, nonetheless
once again, happy buttday Jason!
with lesbie partner and Jit S'ng
with Cheryl and lesbie partner headed off to the famous Ladies
4Play at Zouk after the birthday party.
spontaneous plan from lesbie & nearly could not get up for work the next day.
bad idea for partying on a Thursday night, no more next time but I doubt so
for more pictures you may check out from Facebook
Nick has been pestering me since last month to check out Le Midi one fine day.
we got to check out the place yesterday night, like finally!
I felt clueless & lost walking around BSC not knowing where Le Midi was.
it was until the security guard noticed the clueless me came up & ask what am I looking for.
how shweet of the security guard ey?
Le Midi is located on the 3rd level of BSC new wing, across House + Co.
romantic looking restaurant, classy interior - an ideal place to bring date on a first date
Nick & I agreed to that! hah!
too bad Nick made the reservation real last minute else we could have enjoyed dinner while admiring KL view and live band.
as I've said, classy interior
the display of live jellyfish, really really pretty.
can't keep my eyes off the jellyfishes
main course, don't recall what's the name of the dish - oops!
with JwinHon & Carmen
silly nick! hah!
mind the camwhore picture in the restroom
when I saw the big mirror just can't help but to camwhore la
it looks like a double date, doesn't it? but NAH!
lesbie partner supposed to show up but she fell sick, oh wells.
Nick & I suggested to do dinner outings every once a month, wonder where will the next restaurant be?
needless to say, we headed off to Zouk after dinner.
JwinHon needed some getaway from books and as for me, I'm always up for any spontaneous plan
that is, I'm not dead tired on that day - teeheehee!
friends that were in Phuture
there were no special occasion but Sean ordered flaming for me & Audrey.
it was the most low-ya flaming I've ever seen because there were no flaming at all!
G6 still the best!
friends that were in Velvet
hardly can see my face but I like Nick's face expression, priceless!
it was great seeing you Leo!
wonder when will I get tired of clubbing scenes?
or
wonder when I will get sick of Zouk?
God knows when la
teeheehee!
